The classes prepare student for a career as phlebotomists at hospitals, medical clinics, and labs. The 90-hour course is composed of classroom education, online training, skill practice, and clinical experience. You need to complete 30 venipuncture sticks, including 10 in class and over 20 at a medical facility, as well as 10 capillary sticks. After completing the course and meeting the training requirement, students will be eligible for participate the exams for national certification from National Healthcare Association.

The 173-hour program covers topics like basic anatomy, theory and application of phlebotomy, infection control, principles and methods of specimen collection, labelling and distribution, communications, basic computer, and more.
The program is composed of 90 hours of online education, 38-hours of classroom instruction, and 45 hours of clinical practice. After completing the class, students can sit for the American Medical Technologist's exam to become a Registered Phlebotomy Technician. (Required to work in industry)
