The classes prepare student for a career as phlebotomists at hospitals, medical clinics, and labs. The 90-hour course is composed of classroom education, online training, skill practice, and clinical experience. You need to complete 30 venipuncture sticks, including 10 in class and over 20 at a medical facility, as well as 10 capillary sticks. After completing the course and meeting the training requirement, students will be eligible for participate the exams for national certification from National Healthcare Association.
