Programs Offered: Phlebotomy Noncredit Program
Location: 5600 Oakland Ave. St. Louis, MO 63110 and several other locations in St. LouisThe Phlebotomy training program at St. Louis Community College is offered on a non-credit basis. This course includes in class learning, practical lab learning, and hands on clinical experience.
This course meets three times per week for eleven weeks. These class meetings are only 2 hours long, but after students complete their classroom training they will be required to perform 120 hours of training at a clinical externship.
Some of the topics that will be covered in this course include anatomy pertinent to blood collection, communication skills, specimen collection, lab experience, blood drawing techniques, and more.
