Central Vermont Medical Center

Location: Berlin (130 Fisher Road, Berlin, VT 05602)

Central Vermont Medical Center, located in Berlin, offers a Phlebotomy Program.
The phlebotomy program at the training medical center is a thirteen week program. The program is offered three different times throughout the year in the months of January, May and September. Classes for the program are held on Tuesday evenings from 6pm – 9pm.
The phlebotomy program will prepare individuals who want to work in the medical field as a phlebotomist to draw blood and other bodily specimens for the purpose of testing and lab procedures.
The cost of this program is $500.
Students who successfully complete this program will be awarded a certificate of completion and will be prepared to work as a phlebotomist in the state of Vermont.



Northwest Technical Center

Programs Offered: Phlebotomy Training Program

Location: St. Albans (71 South Main Street, St. Albans, VT 05440)

Northwest Technical Center is located in St. Albans, Utah, and offers a Phlebotomy Training Program.
This phlebotomy program is made up of two courses. The first course includes 13 sessions that are held on Wednesday evenings from 4:30pm – 8:00pm. This course will provide students with the theoretical and technical skills necessary for phlebotomy, including anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, hospital and laboratory procedures, specimen collection, equipment, legal issues and more. This course is $800 plus the cost of the text.
The second course is a certification preparation course. This course includes 40 hours of training plus a clinical placement. This course will review the topics discussed in Phlebotomy Training I and will prepare students to take the national certification examination. This course costs $800 plus the cost of materials.
